Amer J. Abu-Sham, LL.M., is an associate at the Arbitration and Litigation department of Ali Sharif Zu’bi Advocates and Legal Consultants, a tier one law firm in Amman, Jordan. In the past, he has served as a Senior Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Christine A. Ward, A.J., at the Commerce and Complex Litigation Center of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he oversaw case management, drafted court decisions, prepared bench memoranda, and made recommendations regarding the disposition of cases. Amer obtained his LL.M. in International Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of law in May 2019. He obtained his LLB in law at the University of Jordan in 2017 where he participated in the Willem C. Vis Moot in 2016 and 2017 where he also served as the student coach. He is registered as an advocate trainee with the Jordanian Bar Association.
